Put simply, OSJ Periodic Table is an open source periodic table. In the
long run it should end up being a very complete periodic table that can
be used by anyone wishing to view information on the atomic elements.
An important part of the project is the periodic_table.xml file. This file contains all the data on the elements and as more information becomes available it will be added to the file. This file is also intended to become a tool that can be used in any open source project depending on information on the elements. The project is in early stages at the moment, though there is already a version to be used and improved upon. If you have anything that you wish to add to the project, then join in on the discussion list and we'll see what we can do. |
